The Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force, and United States Postal Inspection Service with assistance from Kentucky State Police K-9 and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have arrested:
Jacob Ross Embry, 1797 Creason Street #4, Bowling Green, KY Age 19
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a School, Class D Felony
- Trafficking in Marijuana 8 oz to 5 pounds, Class D Felony
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree (LSD) Class C Felony
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The arrest occurred at 1:45 PM on July 3, 2019 following a brief investigation and surveillance by DTF Detectives and US Postal Inspection Service of marijuana and LSD trafficking activities by the accused.
He was arrested at his residence without incident following the execution of a search warrant.
Seized following the arrest and execution of the search warrant was 4 pounds of marijuana, 20 hits of LSD, Psilocybin Mushrooms and $1,973 in cash. In addition to the aforementioned 4 pounds of marijuana seized at the accused residence an additional 4 pounds of marijuana was also seized which is related to this investigation. The street value of the high-grade marijuana seized was $38,000.
The accused was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail pending arraignment in Warren District Court.
This investigation will be presented to the Warren County Grand Jury at a later date.
