On May 1, 2019 Deputies with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, along with Detective’s assigned to the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force received credible information in regards to a fugitive, wanted in multiple jurisdictions.
Arrested was Joseph Sallee, age 42, recently of Owensboro, for multiple outstanding felony warrants including the charges of:
-Absconding Parole Supervision
-Possession of a Controlled Substance–Methamphetamine
-Failure to Report to a Parole Officer
-Failure to Comply with Treatment of Substance Abuse
-Receiving Stolen Property (Under $10,000)
-Tampering with Physical Evidence
-Providing a False Name to a Peace Officer
-Burglary, 2nd Degree
During the execution of the arrest, Sallee was found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending.
Sallee was transported and lodged in the Hart County Jail in leiu of no bond. Assisting the Hart County Sheriff’s Office on scene were the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force and the Munfordville Police Department.
