A Glasgow man is facing multiple charges for drug trafficking after police executed a search warrant at a residence along Joe Traylor Avenue on Wednesday.
According to a Glasgow Police Department news release, officers found individually wrapped bags containing methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, handguns, digital scales and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
Jimmy L. Tucker, 73, was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(more than 2 grams of methamphetamine); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance(more than 4 grams of cocaine); third-degree possession of a controlled substance(unspecified); possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana; drug paraphernalia buy/possess; and prescription control substance not in proper container.
Tucker was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The arrest was made by GPD officers Mason Wethington, John Warnock, Andrew Moore, Trevor Morrison, John DuBarry, Lt. Aaron Cowan and Sgt. Nick Houchens.
