Tuesday, March 5, was a special day for the children of LeGrande Elementary. Today the children were visited by two ARK Foster Committee Members.  Susan Rowe, from the Hart County Public Library arranged to have a book reading session with ARK to teach the children about care for their family cats and dogs.  Susan read a book to the students followed by a slide show presentation from Lea Tourville and Aleathea Dudley, two of ARK’s Foster Committee Members.  From the pictures, it looks like the children were so attentive you could have heard a pin drop.  After the slide show presentation they answered questions from the children and listened to many pet stories.  It was a fun day for everyone.  We are looking forward to going to Munfordville Elementary next week.  Thank you Susan for implementing this program and thank you ARK Foster Committee Members for your dedication to educating our youth.  Thanks also to Janet Kistler for her hard work with the slide show, upcoming book marks and letter to parents.
