Hart County High School has done it again. Earlier this year we stood witness to Carter Shelton signing with Midway University for a soccer scholarship. Once again, Midway University has welcomed another Hart County High School student, Brianna Warnock, to attend their school on a soccer scholarship. Friday, March 1, Brianna was signed with Midway University in the Library of Hart County High School.
Brianna started her high school years off playing soccer as a Freshman. Although, Brianna was new to the soccer team, she hit the ground running. Her Sophomore year she received All-District Honorable Mention. Brianna has scored a total of 40 goals, made the KHSAA top 30 list, and also she received All-District as a Senior before heading out on her new journey with Midway University.
Brianna has a love and a passion for horses, thus, bringing about her history of equestrian competitions and horse shows throughout Eastern United States such as: Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and soon Florida.
Brianna will be attending Midway University seeking a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. When Brianna was asked why, with her love and passion for horses, she was not interested in attaining a degree as an equestrian professional, she humbly said it was because she loves horses so much that she was merely afraid that going into that field it would take away from the drive and passion she feels so deeply now.
Brianna, is a bright young lady who has proven that hard work and devotion, to whatever it is one may set out to do, will someday be rewarded. This is but another story of Hart County’s finest setting the bar high for those that follow. Congratulations Brianna, so many people are proud of you. Good luck with your future and thank you for being a good example to everyone around you, young and old.
